The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly happening.
